Situated between Midtown and Wynwood, the Miami Design District is a beautiful sight to see with its numerous stores, design showrooms and distinguished brands mixed in with art installations and outdoor sculptures. Home to Celine, Dior, Hermes, Tom Ford, Versace and more, it’s worth visiting even if you don’t plan on buying something. But, you’re on vacation in Miami; why not splurge a little and get those red-bottomed Christian Louboutin pumps you’ve always wanted?

Boho Hunter
When you enter the fun arts district of Wynwood, make Boho Hunter your first shopping stop. A store run by 4 friends from Mexico, Peru and Venezuela, who met in Miami, you’ll find authentic, fashion-forward designs from Latin American designers you’ve likely never heard of, but will more than likely become quickly loyal to. From bags to accessories, clothing and even home decor, you’ll uncover tons of stylish finds at Boho Hunter.

If you’re looking for that hip store with cool designs, Frangipani has a wide collection of men’s, women’s and kids’ clothing, as well as décor, for you and your whole family. Did you forget to pack a beach blanket? They’ve got tons of cute ones. Are you into beaded bracelets and tasseled jewelry? Frangipani has both. You can even buy your kids coloring books or colorful fanny packs to hold all their Miami treasures in.

Sweat Records isn’t just where you go to buy rad band tees and vinyl; it’s a record store that’s also a coffee shop and event space. You may get lucky and be in town when they’re having an art exhibit or listening party. If not, you can still enjoy a cup of coffee and browse through Sweat Records old and new vinyl 7 days a week.

Sawgrass Mills
If you’re ballin’ on a budget (and there’s no shame in that), take the short drive to Sunrise, Florida, to shop at Sawgrass Mills. Complete with more than 350 stores, like Nike, Ralph Lauren, Gap, Kate Spade, Jimmy Choo and more, covering 2.1 million square feet, it’s the biggest outlet and value retail shopping location in the U.S. And after you’ve shopped until you feel like dropping, fuel up with lunch at SushiGami, Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar or one of the other restaurants, and shop some more.
