Tim McGraw And Faith Hill Plan Vegas Tour

Two of country music’s biggest superstars are teaming up to host 40 shows in 10 weeks at the famous Venetian Theater in Las Vegas. Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill announced their planned tour on August 7 while at a press conference at the Venetian Hotel, and this power country couple named the show Soul2Soul.

Planning the Shows

McGraw and Hill announced that they will have the show at the Venetian Theater, an 1800 seat theater in Las Vegas. They chose the location because of its small space that would provide an intimate atmospher for the shows. This will be only the fourth time that the two have toured together, so it will be a rare opportunity for fans to see them together.

They plan on naming the show Soul2Soul after their previous successful tours together back in 2000 and 2006. This name is also appropriate because it connects the souls of two of country music’s greatest musicians. The Soul2Soul tour back in 2006 is still the highest grossing country music tour in America’s history. This is the first time in six years that the two have performed together as well.

McGraw and Hill also had to take into account that both of them are active parents in addition to their country superstar lifestyle. The Venetian worked together with the duo to make sure the tour worked around their three daughters’ school schedules.

McGraw says the shows will be “cutting-edge” and nothing that anyone has ever seen before. He doesn’t plan on making it your typical guitar-playing concert. The two chose the location specifically for its small and intimate atmosphere, so plan on seeing a romantic and powerful show between the two loving stars.

Further Show Details

Tickets for the tour go on sale August 8 for members of artist and venue-related clubs. General admission tickets go on sale August 13 from prices of $95.50 to $295.50, while a $1000 VIP package is also available.

The Venetian Theater is unlike other arenas or theaters that artists typically play at. It is only 1800 seats, which is incredible small compared to the massive concerts that the two have had in the past. They specifically chose this small venue because they wanted the show to be special for themselves and the audience. It is not your typically designed venue, either. It has a black and gold, art-deco theme that looks very dramatic and artsy compared to the basic country music stage.

It will definitely be a show to remember because the famous duo have sold more than 70 million albums combined and have 40 number one hits between them.
