The official date is Sunday, January 26, 2014, and Sean has confirmed that it will take place in LA. Fans will be treated to a front row seat for the celebrations, as the entire ceremony will be captured on camera. Sean picked Catherine from a group of 26 eligible women on season 17 of The Bachelor, and the season finale ended with Sean proposing to her on a beach in Thailand.
According to PEOPLE.com, they sent out a comical wedding notice to friends and family. It read, “Lovers, friends, family and Jack Nicholson, please join Catherine Ligaya Mejia Giudici and Sean Thomas Lowe & Hologram Tupac for the wedding of the century. Reception to follow ceremony,” the card also reads, “So get ready for major tomfoolery and ballyhoo.”
On the back of the announcement, there is a photograph of the bride and groom riding a bike wearing bear heads. The bike has a basket full of roses, and a trail of tin cans trails behind them.
The couple’s ceremony will air live on ABC.
“I think it’s only natural to have it on TV, seeing as how our relationship started,” Sean, who proposed on The Bachelor finale with a 3.15-carat platinum-and-diamond ring, has said. “This will be a cool opportunity to share the most special day of our lives with all the people who have been invested in us along the way.”
