Nokia is re-launching itself with Android powered devices. To get a good share in the smartphone market, Nokia is launching devices in every range. From budget-friendly devices to flagship devices, Nokia has them all. In this post, we will talk about another rumoured phone from Nokia called Nokia Pixel.
Design and Display:
Nokia Pixel is one of the devices that feature a small screen size. Nokia Pixel comes with a 4 inch display that measures 10.16 cm. Nokia Pixel will have a very low resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It lacks both HD display and Full High Definition Display. The pixel density of the device is also low and has 233 PPI pixel density. Nokia Pixel lacks both AMOLED and OLED display and comes with LCD display. As per the preliminary specifications, Nokia Pixel will come in only one colour of black. It will most probably lack scratch resistant display.
About the physical appearance, there is a logo on the front side. The logo is located above the display. The device lacks a physical home button and uses three capacitive keys below the display. The back key will most probably be on the right side of the device. We do not know the location of the rest of the controls. Most probably, Power and volume button will lie on the right side of the device. There is a 2 MP camera above the display, which lacks front LED flash. The backside of the device features an average 5 MP rear camera. The device lacks dual LED flash, but comes with simple LED flash. There is a small1560 mAH battery below the cover. The device lacks a fingerprint sensor. The 3.5 mm jack and a micro USB port are present the bottom of the device. Nokia pixel is a single SIM Device.
Performance:
Nokia Pixeluses Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset. Nokia pixel has quad core, 1.2 GHz, Cortex A7 processor. It comes with a small RAM of 1 GB. Most of the devices these days have a minimum 2 GB RAM. For graphics, it uses Adreno 310 GPU, which is old.
Software:
Nokia Pixel will most probably run on the latest Android version Nougat. Nokia Pixel will have its own custom UI on top.
Camera:
Nokia Pixel features a 5MP primary camera, which has average quality. Nokia pixel lacks optical image stabilization and phase detection autofocus. Nokia pixel features CMOS image sensor. Nokia pixel lacks dual colour LED flash but comes with LED flash. Nokia pixel has the maximum image resolution of
2592 x 1944 Pixels. Nokia pixel has digital zoom, touch to focus and auto flash among other kinds of features. The front camera of NOKIA pixel is small. Nokia pixel uses 2 MP front camera. It lacks front LED flash. We do not know the video quality of the device.
Storage:
Nokia Pixel has very less internal storage. It comes with only 8 MP internal memory that is expandable. The memory of Nokia Pixel is expandable only up to 32 GB. These are not the official specifications; we hope it will have greater memory.
Battery:
Nokia Pixel comes with a small battery of 1560 mAH. Nokia pixel uses Li-ion battery that is most probably user replaceable. The back of the device is removable and therefore the battery is removable. Nokia pixel will give a talk time of 10 Hours on 3G. Nokia pixel will have a 240 hours’ standby time.
Connectivity:
Nokia pixel is a single SIM device, which does not support 4G.It only supports 3G and 2G. It supports following 3G Bands: UMTS 1900 / 2100 / 850 / 900 MHz 2G Bands: GSM 1800 / 1900 / 850 / 900 MHz ,3G Speed: HSDPA 21.10 Mbit/s ↓, HSUPA 5.78 Mbit/s.Nokia pixel uses Bluetooth version 4 and features GPS with A GPS. Nokia pixel lacks USB TYPE C port and uses micro USB port. The device features FM radio and a 3.5 mm jack. It also features sensors like light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer.
Price:
The device has not been officially announced yet, so the price of Nokia Pixel is unknown.
