New homes in New Jersey are popping up as fast as builders can complete construction because New Jersey is located in a highly desirable area. Residents can drive to the beach, or they can visit New York City in the same weekend. The state has excellent jobs and many desirable communities that attract high-profile individuals, sports players and celebrities.
Traditionally, the Garden State is divided into two parts. The northern part of the state includes countless commuter suburbs that are part of New York City’s greater metropolitan area. The southern part of the state includes phenomenal beaches and suburbs that are minutes from Philadelphia. From Cape May to Palisades Park, new residential communities are popping up across the state. Here are a few of New Jersey’s newest and hottest towns.
South Jersey
Many upscale residential communities are located less than 30 minutes from Philadelphia. These areas attract Philly’s hottest celebrity sports players who commute to Philadelphia’s biggest stadiums and sports arenas. The quiet suburban homes of Washington Township in Gloucester County attract a number of A-list athletes. This historic community is comprised of six unique towns. In 2008, CNN’s Money Magazine named Washington Township one of the 100 best cities in the United States. It’s also one of the best places for anyone who wants to rub elbows with current or retired members of the Philadelphia Phillies.
North Jersey
For many people, northern regions of New Jersey are synonymous with the celebrity lifestyle. Northern parts of the state are home to affluent residential towns that have direct access to New York City. Hoboken is one of the most recognizable cities in the area. This gentrified community has received a lot of publicity on the popular reality show “Cake Boss,” but there are plenty of other cities where regular people can live like celebrities.
In 2011, five northern New Jersey cities made CNN’s list of the best places to live. Hillsborough, Madison, Montville, Ridgewood and South Brunswick all offer residents an outstanding quality of life. These communities are close to New York City where visitors can always bump into a celebrity or two. Residents will find great jobs in these upscale communities as well. L’Oreal, Honeywell, AT&T and other major companies have corporate offices in the area.
New Jersey has many communities that offer residents a celebrity lifestyle. Plus, new homes in New Jersey are constantly being built in areas that are sure to deliver all of the celebrity privileges imaginable.
