Who doesn’t want more sleep right? I know I sure do. While it may be tough to get adequate rest with all the demands that life throws our way, try your best to organize your day to allow for at least 7-9 hours of rest. Research indicates that people who sleep a bare minimum of seven hours, uninterrupted have more stable blood sugar levels, so make sure that you get those z’s.
Lose Those Love Handles
I’m sure it is no big shocker for you to hear that losing weight not only helps with diabetes, but it is good just for you general overall health. However, when people typically here weight loss, they typically think of rigorous diet and exercise plans that seem impossible to maintain. However, I’m simply talking about losing a few pounds. That alone can really make a difference. You can probably accomplish this simply by going for a brisk walk every night or taking the stairs over the elevator at work.
